500 ml bottle: I really like the label on this one. Simple but nice. Poured a clear orange/brown with a thick pillowy tan head. Raisins and caramel in the aroma. Fresh pumpkin also. Big malt flavor with some cocoa and even some pumpkin, or at least what I taste as pumpkin. Mild bitter finish with some sweetness. Good beer.

(on bottle) a very nice aroma of ryebread and coffee. Brown, with a big, white head. The carbonation is fine for the massive malt and wood taste, along with a very good finish of dry cocoapowder.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a creamy light tan head. Spiced and light roasted malt aroma. Flavour is sweet and breadish. More pronounced spice note appearing later. Ends with a lingering malty flavour, breadish and towards dark fruity.

Bottle, bought @ Ambrosetti, Berlin.
Pours mahogany red with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, light metal, good caramel and a slight roasted note. Medium carbonation with fine mouthfeel. Flavour is quite fine, good sweetness. Lots of caramel, a little rye bread, some plums. Fair, subdued bitterness in the finish. Good and drinkable.

Bottled. A red-brown bier with a tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as notes of malt and some straw. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong notes of both bread and caramel, leading to a dry bready finish where notes of caramel lingers. The body is thin.

A dark brown dunkel with a thin offwhite head, lacing. Aroma is pleasant, nutty caramel, with light hops. In mouth, a nice roasted malt, with fruity esters, a bit thin but nice. Bought at Cerveteca, Barcelona, for 1.92 E. and tasted mid Nov. 2006.

(bottle) Clear, brown colour with a medium-sized slightly beige frothy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty, slightly crusty aroma with notes of caramel, cacao and a light herbal hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid toasty malty body with caramel/toffee and cacao; quite dry, moderately bitter and toasted, slightly hoppy finish (08.VIII.09).

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts malty and dry, quite smoky. Fruity notes of plum. Finish mild, modest malty. Quite drinkable. Not bad!
