Cask conditioned at Mahars. Pours a thick and rich brown-black, aroma is COFFEE!!!! Flavor has more coffee than any beer I’ve ever had, really amazing taste.

Nitro @ HopDevil: Dense tan lacing head. Milky aroma- some lactose sugar & fresh roasted coffee. Creamy on the palate. Milky and chocolaty flavor with lots of coffee character, without the astringent old coffee taste many coffee stouts have. Very simple and straight forward, but highly drinkable.

Shaker pour at 4th Ave Pub, I basically went here just to try this. Its a completely black color with a small, fast fading head. Aroma is coffee, strong, so damn strong that it is coming off as jalapeño, fortunately I like that. Taste is just straight coffee with light cola-like stout at the end. It has lots of roast and the coffee hides all of the great aspects of the base beer. Still some jalapeño coming off this. Its alright but its just too basic for a coffee beer.

On tap at the brewery. According to the tap mistress this is a departure from their traditional Mothers Milk stout, through the addition of an ample amount of Muddy Cup coffee to the brew. One of the brewers was there that evening as well and was attempting to guess at just how much caffeine was in a pint, and was guessing the equivalent of one and a half cups of coffees worth per pint. His assessment comes through from the beginning as the pour is a deep jet black with a faint tan head. Ample roasted coffee aromas on the nose with slight hints of roasted malt. The body is a bit thin, and again is overflowing with rich coffee flavor. There is a gentle bitterness on the finish, with, yet again, more coffee flavor. The coffee comes through quite heavily throughout the beer and is very pronounced, though not entirely overpowering. It is however a bit too much coffee for me, as I find it ends up taking away from some of the stout aspects instead of enhancing them. A solid stout, but definitely one for the coffee fiends.
