Parket (214), Bruges, Belgium Sep 15, 2009 bottle, light yellow colour, cloudy beer with small and fastly disappearing white head. Coriander and fruity smell. Taste: very sweet (a bit too), fruity, grainy, citrus, very spicy. Like a witbier must be! But not a brililant beer. altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands Mar 22, 2009 Bottle at Boris/Maria house. Cloudy yellow body with very little head. Sweet nose of fruits, banana. Taste of citrus, banana with spicy notes. Very smooth and drinkable witbier. I was quite impressed. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Mar 27, 2008 Bottle, 30 cl. from a supemarket in Sluis.
Hazy yellow color, little white head. Aroma very normal wheat beer:
spice, citrus, sweet, malts.
Medium body.
Taste sweet, bit coriander, citrus, fruits.
Not bad. imdownthepub (5086), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jan 24, 2008 Bottled, 330 ml. From a supemarket in Schin op Geul. Pale yellow, cloudy, no head. Pretty standard Wit, clouded, slightly tart, fruity banana, esthery with touches of spice. Nothing to write home about but it was ok. Similar to Korenwolf marbe? SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Jun 24, 2007 Bottle: Drank from with so did not get a good appearence. The aroma was spicy and acidic fruit. The taste was tangy citrus, but lacked rest that I have become accustome to with a wit. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 4, 2006 Pale hazy-yellow; nearly no head, whitish, gone in seconds. Coriander-determined nose, dull spicey and a bit flowery. Coriandertisane, relieved with some smoked bacon. Well, one little rind found its way into and cooked in a full brewing kettle. Light MF, only slight refreshing qualities. Godawful wit.
