Head is a bit like fairy liquid - sudsy and strong. Flavour is great - a steady, fresh pale ale with hints of citrus. A good one. MiP (9159), Sønderborg, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2005 Pale gold colour. A bit cloudy. Some grassy hop in the aroma, but much more restrained than I had been expecting. A hint of sulphur too. The hop character comes through much more clearly on the palate. Clean, crisp and citric. Not a lot of bitterness, with some fruitiness coming through on the finish. A light bodied, refreshing beer, but nothing out of the ordinary in my view. Cask (handpump) at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival 2005.

Aromas are very green and oily hops - like a (good) German pilsner oddly enough. Flavours are citrus fruit followed by more of the lovely hops. Its all very well balanced and moreish. Mine has gone already.
