Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. A sweetish fruity flavour, followed with a cola like aftertaste. A dry finish with a bitter bite in the tail. reakt (937), Greater London, England

Fruity hops, slight nettles, pear, juicyfruit gum and malt in the aroma. Can nearly detect a faint whiff of diacetol but but the fruit character saves it. Flavour is tropical fruits, malt and a nice juicy hop bite. I found it quite well balanced and pleasant. DruncanVeasey (2768), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England

Another zesty mandarin-accented golden ale with digestive biscuit afters. Maybe a sprinkle of oats. Ringed with lace. Amazed to find it’s 5.2%. Definitely worthy of reinvestigation. Delicious but boring. RPillsbury (112), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England

A great beer with complex aromas of hops, malt and citrus. The flavours stand out as well with an overall sweetness, a touch of grass and nice, dry finish. I don’t have this beer that often due to its high alcohol content; but when I do, I always find it well-balanced and definitely moreish. Sigmund (2300), Hafrsfjord, Norway

When opening, the beer started gushing out of the bottle. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy, big white head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus and floral notes, a hint of toffee. The flavour is distinctly hoppy and grapefruity throughout, but never too bitter. The hoppy fruitiness also has a sufficient malty base, and my bottle had a hint of brettanomyces. Long aftertaste of hoppy bitterness. Good stuff! Whelk (124), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
