Cask, Eagle & Child, Oxford. Pale yellow gold, small fine white cap. Musky Earl Grey aroma, fresh and sweet. Bright clean citrus hop flavor, light clean body, a nice subtle farmy character. Very refreshing summery ale.

A Sim rate (Cask at Planet Thanet): Cant smell much at all except a slight peach (aw a little peach) and apple. Flavour is very slightly hoppy with various fruits. Clean. Dry. Downable.

Dark yellow colored, medium sized yellow head. Sweet honeyish aroma with plenty of bitter hops, flowers also there. Medium bodied, very smooth palate. Flavor is also good bitter-ale: lemon, flowers, crispy biting hops, still creamy smoothiness also there.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys, Pride Park, Derby. A golden colour with a compact white head; aroma of citrus, honey, lanolin, and hospital disinfectant; thick and oliy in the mouth, with a honey sweetness that releases a deeply bitter aftertaste with a grapefruit tang. One of the few beers where I wish I’d brought more - hopefully they’ll have some left tomorrow!

Pretty good golden ale here, I was expecting something a little, darker. Flavour was alright but not excellent. I’ve enjoyed what i’ve had from this brewery though.
