The nose is chocolate malt and smooth coffee. The flavor is quite the same, with the same smooth coffee influence and lightly chocolate malted. Slight sweet finish wit a touch of coffee as well. Medium mouthfeel.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Bottle: Deep brown pour with a khaki well retained head. Toasted malt aroma- mild coffee roast with some chocolaty qualities and a toasted coconut hint. Unique. Slick and creamy body. Toasted yet rich and dry. Toasted coconut notes mesh with mild coffee roast- soft and balanced. The macadamia nut is subtle- blind I wouldn’t detect macadamia, but I would say it’s nutty. Interesting stuff. puzzl (2647), New York, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Bottled. Too much cold roast coffee, some vanilla. Fizzy body, way too much carb, with dull coffee throughout. I’m not sure what the macadamia nut is doing here -- it seems it is doing absolutely nothing -- they should have just left the little gimmick out. JaBier (1261), Capital City, Ohio, USA

Aroma is full of coffee, roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate and slight alcohol notes. Flavor is strong coffee, cocoa,, bitter, burnt malts, and roasted coconut. Super smooth, sweet finish. Medium bodied, easy drinking, really good beer. FoolishMortal (966), San Diego, California, USA
