Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours darker cola brown with an off-white head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, roast, thick nuttiness, and slight vanilla. Flavor is outstanding: lots of coffee, roast, and chocolate. Chocolate emanates throughout this outstanding porter. Thick body and pleasing chocolate finish.

12 ounce bottle shared by footbalm, thanks man! Pours a pure black color with a small beige head. The aroma is awesome; sweet milky chocolates, and loads of coffee, light tropical notes. The flavor is great; rich milky coffee, loads of sweetness, light nutty and tropical coconut flavors. Super smooth and tasty. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared at EDAs post Thanksgiving bash. Okay this was the last beer I rated at the party and I was pretty banged up by the time this one was open but what the hell it’s not like my normal ratings are inspired by Michael Jackson from beyond the grave anyway. Poured deep dark brown with an average foamy beige head. Aroma was pretty solid with some chocolate and noticeable hops followed up by lighter vanilla, grain and grape juice? Yeah my notes clearly say grape juice. Flavor is grainy and sweet with notes of bad nutty dough, raisin, dark fruit and slight chocolate. In closing my notes read "not to complex", oh well you can’t please every drunk at the party.

12oz bottles, pours black with small tan head around the rim. Nose is nutty-hazelnut and macademia, coffee, vanilla, and coconut. Flavors are like a flavored coffee, vanilla, weak coffee, and coconut. Thin body, lightly carbonated. Taste like watery flavored coffee.

Pours out nice a dark. A rich sweet aroma with a strong macadamia nut character and notes of coconut. The body is thick and smooth with a toasty flavor complementing the nut. Sweet but not overwhelmingly so with a light finish. A unique porter.

Pour is very black with a one finger tan head- frothy and small bubbled. Aroma is orgasmic- a huge mocha note swirls together with bitter chocolate, mild creaminess, toasty macadamia nut, oat sugars, coconut, and earth. Flavor is a sweet concoction of chocolate, further oatiness, caramel, and molasses with a subtle background of coconut, nut, and dark fruit. Roast character is noticeable but minimal. Palate is medium to full with lively effervescence and a somewhat roasty clean finish.

Black pour with a small but pretty light tan head, solid lacing. Aroma is phenomenal; holds amazing coffee and toasted malt notes, and the macadamia nut and coconut really do come through beautifully. Also smells of chocolate, oat, earth, and roasted chestnut. Flavor is also great; many of the same notes come through, particularly the coffee, oat, and nut. Booze has a warming presence; the palate strikes me as a smidgen thin, but overall still very nice. This is an excellent porter, I’m again very impressed with Stone.
