ross (1492), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Apr 8, 2008 Part 2 of my cellar clean out which was only 2 bottles. The Danish would be proud of me. This beer fucking sucks. I dont know what else to say. Tastes like butter and bourbon. Not a good combination. I retched this one up after I drank some.
Dorwart (1585), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Jun 12, 2008 Thin head which dissipates quickly. Vanilla, butterscotch and bourbonin the aroma. Very sweet smelling. Color is a bright orange. Smooth and buttery flavor. Lite bourbon notes late swallow. Pretty thin body. I do not like the taste of butter and therefore I am not a fan of this brew. Little bit of zippy dryness on the tongue. FInishes buttery. Butter, butter and more butter. Not a fan.

Aroma – Deep rich Bourbon barrel malt nose.
Appearance – Dark brown in color, Nice thin head and clear.
Flavor – Rich Bourbon barrel flavors with a good malt backing this was a great beer.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice texture with a great finish.
Overall – This was a great beer. I liked the barrel flavor and rich bourbon I can get from the beer. The malts where very good also.
edden (882), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA May 4, 2008 4/21/08: Bottle Nose has a hint of bourbon. Deep apricot body with a chill haze. No head/lace. Sweet caramel and bourbon flavor. hopscotch (4358), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 1, 2008 Bottle… DLD’08… Lightly hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is of toffee and bourbon with suggestions of burned rubber and resin… the apparent olfactory theme of the day. Light-bodied and fizzy. Perfectly balanced, but bland and mostly flavorless… with the lone exception being a miniscule hint of bourbon. Crisp, clean, thin finish. daknole (492), Plantation, Florida, USA Apr 23, 2008 Bottle, thanks Acknud! Well this is ann intersting brew. The aroma and flavors of Bourbon hit immediately. The beer also tastes of bourbon...too much honestly. It is a very bright and bold amber color with no head. Carbonation is light. Flavor of beer is lost in the Bourbon. Decent brew.
