Bottle 33 cl. Pours a caramel brown with a big white head and an aroma of spices, hops and some fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, honey and sweet malts added with some spicy hops. The finish is slightly bitter and spicy.

A gift from Alex Liberati
Hazy copper color, with a huge head. The aroma is moderately hoppy, with light fruits. Medium toffee flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, with a spicy hopping, stronger than the ordinary Belgian ales, and with a hint of fruity hops. The final as well is more bitter than the average, and quite spicy. Refreshing.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Golden orange body with proud head. Malty and fruity nose. Flavourful than lots of hops. With a spicy bite to it. Really just lovely. One of the best tripels I’ve had.

Huge, slightly dirty head over clear copper-golden beer. Rather sharp, malty nose, bit milky, finally going over in dry, nearly USA-typed hops. Steamed corn warming up. Very bitter, both hops and earthy/leafy flavour, intense. Faint smoked touch, nice. Medium bodied, bit slick, very dry finish & MF. Whomever or wherever brews this/is this brewed, the beer deserves extra points for originality. Great!

A decent brew. What it lacks is an aroma. It smells like almost nothing except a slight fruity antisepticness reminiscent of shower gel. The taste compensates for this. It has slight cheese notes, a hint of sourness blending right over into the american style hop-bitterness it has. All this is carried by a nice freshness. It is carbonated just enough to make your tongue tingle, and the palate lingers as a sort of spicy tingle which makes you want to take another sip.

Bottle from De Bierkoning. Lightly hazy amber with a medium head. Fruity and herbal hop aroma blending with sweet maltiness. Some toffee flavours, good herbal hop bitterness. A bit buttery. Quite nice.
