DavidP (1713), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 15, 2008 750 of "Bink Tripel", 7% ABV. Dusty golden body under a small white head. Buttery malt aroma, the flavor kicks in peach alongside a gentle peppery alcohol and very light hopping. Pretty meh stuff, I’ve never been a bit tripel fan.
Sammy (3139), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2008 Some white head on light yellow. Initial carbonation that calms after a bit. Farm musty taste that is better after bottle uncorked a half hour or so. Good mouthfeel. Not much complexity, but drinkable and satisfying. MuttyD (89), Cambridge, USA Sep 22, 2008 Golden/amber pour with fizzy huge head. Grassy & citrusy nose. Flavor is of the same. Bitter finish. Great tripel Palidor19 (1319), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 very nice, lots of malts not too much hops, lightly herbal, also have some lightly fruity. alcohol is high but its nice. nick76 (2054), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 The aroma is sweet with yeast, fruit, malt, and basement. The appearance is golden with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s OK. JoeinUccle (689), Brussels, Belgium Aug 5, 2008 75cL bottle, not sure how old. Cloudy orange beer with a nice off-white head. Nose is sweet with lots of orange notes and some greenery. Flavor is quite sweet, again orange notes, with a lightly bitter backbone. Not quite enough to keep it in check. Fairly thick but lively mouthfeel. Too sweet for me to drink on its own, but it was nice with some zesty pesto.
