Enniskillen (1551), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Jul 1, 2008 Amber with a thin white head. Light yeastiness, citrus, light hops. Taste is a light yeastiness with caramel, and alcohol. Seems more like a belgian strong, but a good beer. Odeed (1480), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 29, 2008 (handbottle from irishboy.thanks!)nice copper colored body with a small white head.as the head rests it leaves nice lacing on the glass.the aroma blends up jasmine, belgian yeast, pine hops, cotton candy, and allspice.flavor is much of the same with a medium mouthfeel.alcohol is well hidden. IrishBoy (2124), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 27, 2008 Draft at the Brewpub and a two growlers at my house; Nose of light spices (nutmeg, cloves, allspice) and light flowery and citrusy hops; lightly hazy orange-gold with a medium yellowish head; flavor is a combo of light hoppy bitterness, spiciness, pepperiness, and a little caramel and candi-sugariness; finish is moderately bitter with a spicy haze on the tongue! A Belgian spiced DIPA!
