Sep 14, 2009 22oz bottle, no date. Clear golden with a 1/2 finger white head, fading to a thick ring before long. Belgian yeast up front with some banana, apricot, and (very) faint lemon. There is also some light dusty spice and alcohol. The flavor added some light grassy hops. The flavor was pretty sweet, not quite dried out enough from the hops or alcohol. Minimal bitterness. Full body that is a little heavier due to the lower than average carbonation. Not too bad, but gets lumped in with the other American versions of Belgian styles that are too sweet.

Aug 15, 2009 Growler. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweetish fruity aroma with yeast and alcohol showing. Quite full-bodied, very sweet fruitiness, a little yeast and phenols. No bitterness. 110709

Aug 3, 2009 Bottle; poured an amber color with a smallish white head. Aroma was quite good and got better with some warmth; bubblegum, dry wheat, banana, yeast and fruit. Perhaps not the truest version of the style, but it was quite tasty. Alot of alcoholic notes, with yeast, banana and a bit of spice. Some vanilla like notes as well.

Jul 31, 2009 Yellow with a light head. Light, fruity aroma. A bit of bubblegum, but not the depth of flavors as some examples in the style. Growler shared at RBSG 2009 grand tasting.

Jul 27, 2009 From growler, courtesy of IrsichBoy @ RBSG2009. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Fruity and slight yeasty to spiced aroma. Bitter and spiced flavoured into a dry phenolic finish.

Jul 5, 2009 Growler, only one day old thanks to footbalm. Pours a clear golden color with a very large foamy white head. The aroma is nice; sweet spices, banana esters, cloves, nutmeg, grains. The flavor is sweet and easygoing despite the ABV; sweet sugary malts, lots of spices, a huge malt and fruity banana ester. A nice triple with a full mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. How am I the third rating of this beer? Utah in the house:)

Jun 19, 2009 Growler shared by Irishboy, pours just a touch cloudy with a thin white head. Full nose of yeast, spice, clove and a touch of banana. Flavor is the same with a dry finish. The mouthfeel is a bit full but lively at the same time.

Jun 12, 2009 Draft at the brewpub! Nose of cloves, nutmeg, bananas, wheaty grain, and yeast. Murky yellow with a medium yellow tinged head with lightly laces the glass. Flavor of whet, bananas, spiciness, and very light bitterness. Finishes with a slight tinge of alcohol warmth. Can’t wait for the barrel aged version!
