22oz bottle from south bay..... pours a dark brown with lighter brown edges but barely. light tan head.... aroma of medium roast and chocolate nose.... light bodied with chocolate and roast, mildly sweet with a bitter finish.

Jan 2, 2010 Bottle: Dark Brown, very deep and dark actually, thin to moderate light brown head, spotty lacing. Roasty nose, slight lactose sweetness, even a little hop presense. Solid on the tongue, balanced well between
roasted malts and the C hops. Clean finish, a little chalky, well hidden ABV of 8.5%. Moderate to full bodied. Flavorful. Solid Stout. Thanks Odeed!

Dec 31, 2009 Bottle from South Bay Drug. Pours really dark with a slight dark tan head. Very dark aromas of chocolate, coffee and burnt malt. Near full body with mildly frothy carbonation. Flavor is very smooth burnt malt and chocolate, the coffee holds off a bit. Quite a good drink.

Nov 11, 2009 Dark brown, thin ring of tan head mostly dissipates, slippery lacing on the glass. Nose is mild coffee grounds and milk chocolate. Flavor is rock solid and full of coffee-cocoa malts, slight roast, faint hop bitterness for balance, finishes dry and malty. Medium-full body, creamy texture, medium carbonation. A top tier stout, great balance and malt flavor profile, super drinkable, would love to have easy access to this gem!

Taste like the nose; dark roast most prevalent, bittersweet chocolate, a touch of prune, grapefruit and lime peel. Inky, ashy finish. Great with raw littlenecks.

Oct 30, 2009 22oz bottle from Southbay Drugs. Pours a very deep brown with a creamy beige / tan head, light lacing. Nose was full of coffee and some bittersweet chocolate. A very balanced Stout, good stuff.
