HUGE pine tree/light catty Simcoe hop aroma. A little hempy and some sweet malts are also in the nose. Just a wonderful aroma! Love them Simcoe. Mildly hazy light copper body with a white head and fair lacing present. Damn. A shitload of Simcoe. It’s like drinking a fucking Christmas tree! I also get some light floral hop flavors in there, too. Not a ton of malty sweetness. Finishes very dry and bitter--a little too dry for me. The Simcoe makes up for it, though. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Thanks to beerlando for the bottle! Hazy orange-copper, white head pretty quick. Nose is hop-loaded and citrusy, quite clean, yet there’s a hint of grain there. Flavor is very orange, very light, very juicy, slight bitterness in the background. Palate is rather thin, moderately sweet finish, a little too sugary. Overall good, but too basic and without much personality. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA

Let me just say that while this was a good IPA, it was in no way Just Outstanding. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of floral hops, sweet malt, and a touch of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Good. douglas88 (1679), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Pours a cloudy apricot color with a nice thick white head, and lots of sticky lacing. The aroma is strong citrus hops. The flavor is excellent; smooth and flavorful, loads of grapefruit and citrus hops, some light malts and caramel, a light bitterness and orange peel in the finish. Very nice, a excellent mouthfeel. brentfeesh (1041), Gadsden, Alabama, USA

Tropical fruit, citrus and a touch of pine dominate the aroma. Yum! Nicely balanced citrus flavor with touches of tropical fruit and plenty of pine in the finish. The malt is there only to hold up the hops. Very nice. Dry mouth feel and medium body. I’m really glad he sent me 2 of these. WeeHeavySD (3042), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
