Bottle via Odeed. Thanks! Amber Color. Smell of hops, malt, citrus peal, caramel, honey, grapefruit and pine. Taste of hops, malt, citrus peal, malt, salt, caramel, honey, grapefruit, flowers and a nice oily finish. A touch of alcohol in the taste also. This could have been dubbed for a Double IPA.

Cloudy amber. Big rocky head. Earthy hop nose with a bright amarillo top note. A little spritzy but some nice mellow orangey hop notes in there. Finishes clean with sweet bready notes.

(22 oz. bottle via trade with <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=3 target=blank>IrishBoy, thanks Richard!) Quite the hop fix...Pours lightly hazy orange-amber with four fingers of lightly amberish-white head. Head recedes to a rocky cap. Big, bad pungent grapefruit aroma - along with pine. Mouthfeel medium-full, fairly smooth. Big foamy rings and sheets of lacing. Flavor is a huge bite of hops - heavily bitter with a big grapefruit flavor along with some pine. As it warms there is a very light caramel taste underneath. Long, lingering bitter grapefruit-pine aftertaste. Alcohol well-hidden in taste (although the ABV in this will sneak up on you). Falls to the extreme side of hoppiness - a bit too much maybe.

bottle from irishboy: pours a nice orange hue with a great creamy white head, good lacing. aroma is a good grapefruit hop smell, some caramel malt in the back ground, very nice balanced araoma. flavour is a bitter hop upfront, slight caaramel malt finishes with more bitering hops of citrus and earth. very nice.

Bottle, Merritt Is. Throwdown. Deep dark orange color with a good slick-looking head. Citrusy herbal, grassy aroma. Soft, thick, oily palate. Poignantly hoppy, estery, and phenolic. Very nice.

Bottle... GIABMISGFAB... This beer rocks!... Cloudy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The earthy, fruity nose is bursting at the seams with tropical and fuzzy fruits. Full-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Sweet, but balanced by juicy hop bitterness. Lengthy, bittersweet finish. Kudos to mcbackus for hosting the Spring Gansta Fling and Bling and for providing this beer!

22oz bottle courtesy of Odeed. Poured a dirty copper color, nice white head and some lacing. Aroma of fruits and hops. Taste of carmel and toffee with a bitter bite at the end and dry. Quiet enjoyable!
