Brown with a decent head. Roasted bread, nuts, a bit of soil are spotted in the aroma. Sweet chocolate-like flavours, and again I detect a bit of smoke in a Kerteminde-production. Don’t know why ... Well done, anyway.

0.5 l bottle (as Johannes Larsens Ale), thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy ruby color. Strong milk chocolate aroma with red currant, yeast and nuts. Sweet caramelly, chocolatey, berryish and yeasty flavor with notes of vanilla and wood.

Medium light brown head. Dark brown body. Roasty chocolatey aroma with earthy nutty notes. Dry-sweet roasty dusty taste with fruity earthy notes. Vaguely Belgian yeast profile. Mid-bodied. Dry chocolatey hoppy aftertaste. Very nice. Delicate and full of flavour. (0.5l bottle, HJ Hansen, Odensen.)

Exploding head. Color is dark brown and the head is brown and bubbling. Suprising complex aroma. Notes of grapefruit and pine on the hobby side, and with a good chunck of chocolate and roasted nuts on the malty side. Flavor is mainly bitter. Sharp bitterness from hobs, and some smoother bitterness from the dark roasted chocolate, not very sweet, which i like. Body is only medium and it comes off as a little bit weak in the finish, but a very nice beer for everyday use.
