50cl bottle. Murky brown, small firm off-white head. Sweet yeasty nose, little cocoa, hint of dark candi sugar, nutmeg. Flavor is slightly roasty, sweetish maltiness, little milky cocoa and mild herbal yeast. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfilling carbonation. Very mellow brew, nothing really shining through.

Bottled (BB 12/2009)
Nut brown, hazy color, small steady beige head. Caramel, cocoa, some vegetables and alcohol in the nose. Caramel, wheaty notes, chocolate, vegetables and even some alcohol. Not really exciting, like brewery trying to brew a Belgian ale for the first time. But not totally hopeless either.

(on bottle) Label reading "Kerteminde Påske". Dark orange, white head. Sweet caramel and a tad infected tho´. Good creamy mouthfeel. Bland and empty finish; a clear mistake in the brewery and again, it´s sold; really sad.

Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, dusty, sugar, burnt - rubber notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090527]

Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It pours a hazy, copper-colored body under a finger-thick, creamy, beige head. Fresh fruits, some hints of smoke, dried fruits and citrus notes in the aroma. Roasted, lightly smoked nose with some dried fruits. Some smoke, as well as sweetness in the finish. Medium to full body. It sure didn’t lead my thoughts to spring time, but it was at least drinkable, although boring. (090517)
