(Bottle 50 cl) As "Jomfruhøjen". Hazy amber golden with a nice, dense head with good retention and leaving some lacework. Fresh and fruity - has a touch of citrusy American aroma hops. Medium body, lightly sweet fruit and caramel. Lightly bitter finish. Quite fresh really. 070908

Bottle 50 cl) As "Pale Ale". Ever so slightly hazy, dark amber with a very tall and handsome, off-white head with excellent retention. Delicate aroma of malt and aroma hops. Medium body with some sweetish caramel malt and a vaguely smoked edge. Lightly hoppy finish. Unusual but fairly decent. Earlier Rating: Total Score: 3.4 300406

The color is beautiful copper red-brown and the head is small. The aroma has notes of fruity hops, caramel and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of caramel, malt, fruit and citrus. It’s pleasant as such, but I would have liked the hops to be more crisp, just like the aroma implies.

Dark amber with a nice head. The aroma has notes of caramel and the flavour is sweetish with notes of roasted malt, caramel and a citrussy bitterness. IMO it’s not in balance, and not as nice as the others I tasted from this brewery.

Bottled. An undlear amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of citrus, leading to a dry bitter finish.

A hazy amber beer with a huge fluffy orange head, due to very high carbonation. The aroma is brewmashy combined with notes of caramel - like a lot of upstart microbrews. The flavor is sweet grainy and caramelic combined with notes of brewmash, but on an unpleasant back ground of burnt plastic - clearly a brewing mistake, leading to a smooth caramel end, but still with the burnt plastic lingering and turning slightly acidic in the very end. The flavor makes this an unnessecary beer on the Danish market - atleast if this is the best they can do quality-wise.
