Huge, yellowish head over cloudy orange-amber beer. Sweetish nose with fresh greenery, and again some fatty acids, if less than in the Blonde. Fatty acids more prominent in the taste; sweetish with some caramel and sourish lining. Medium to nearly well-bodied, quite slick with creamy head and fizzy carbonation. Some brewers can’t detect diacetyl. I suppose the same goes for fatty acids?

On tap as VAT 69 at The Beer Brothers Zomerbierfestival, Mechelen. Cloudy orangey golden, medium head. Surprising milk chocolate aroma and flavours. Full-bodied. A beer that dares to be different.
