marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Mar 2, 2009 On tap at the brewery. This copper ale poured with a modest off-white head and a malty aroma. The flavor is roasted malt that is well-balanced with hop bitterness. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 6, 2008 On tap at Kettle House. Pours dark amber with an off-white ring of foam. Caramel and citrus in the nose and taste. Dry finish. Not a bad beer, but not their best effort. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA Aug 8, 2007 Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Pours a cloudy burnt amber color. Light roasted malt and toffee on the nose. Nice floral hops with a balance of toasty sweet malt round out a pretty nice palate on this beer. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 19, 2007 Picked up single 16-oz can at the brewery’s taproom in Missoula, Montana. Pours a haze brownish amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of mostly toasted multi-grain malt, a touch of grassy hops and pear fruit. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with mostly multi-grain flavor and just a hint of bitterness. Finish is light, slightly watery, a breakfast cereal aftertaste with a good balance of bitterness. JK (2945), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2007 Canned. Not very good at all. Cloudy brown appearance, which is probably its best quality. Flavor has very light malt and unfortunately some metal. badgerben (3584), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jul 9, 2007 A can, courtesy of Skyview. Dark amber color with a thick head. Small malt aroma. Fairly malty taste without going too sweet. Just enough hops to make you notice. Simple, good. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jul 9, 2007 Thanks to skyview for sharing. Hazy amber pour with off-white head. Malty nose with a sweet taste. Balanced hop and malt body with a watery finish. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 19, 2006 Amber with an off white head and nice lacing. Toasted malts with a small floral hint. Blended well. Flavor follows suit fairly well. Not much difference. Good mouthfell and a pleasant finish.
