Nose of light roast, just a faint hemp note, maybe it’s just in my mind. The flavor is rich with cocoa and chocolate, sweet mocha roast and light lactose. Chewables in the finish. Good. Pours a dark opaque near black brew with a thin tan head that dissolves to a tan ring. Aroma of roasted dark malt, dark bittersweet chocolate, some mocha, and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is smooth, creamy, full bodied with some roasted malt and earthy herbal flavors. Finish is smooth, slick with a light chocolate and herbal spice aftertaste. Hemp in the beer? Man was I wise not to take a return trip through Utah to bring this back to Minnesota. That Utah State Trooper would have made things quite difficult for me. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Roasted malt aroma and fairly herbal. Strong roasted malt flavor with what I would only assume to be a big hemp flavor, not that I’ve chewed on a lot of hemp leaves in my life... Bitter finish. Dang tasty. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

The aroma is simple roasted malt, and the flavor is lightly roasted with only a hint of coffee. No flaws at least. Volgon (2489), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
