Commercial Description:
Not for the "light beer" drinker. This is a golden American Pale Ale with medium malt character, assertive hop flavor / bitterness and distinctive fruity aroma.

On tap at the brewpub. Aroma hovers between wet, fresh hops, isovaleric compounds, and light butter. Could be a diacetyl bomb, but I have no idea. Quiet hoppiness closes the nose. Pours a very cloudy dark goldish. Rim in white. Flavor develops a bland, wet isovaleric bitter hop character, with, again, no supporting maltiness. Not crisp or snappy, instead dull, wet, listless and painfully bitter. Gross, grassy unbalanced one-dimensional bitterness that tastes an awful lot like Horizon hops. God I hate the hopping at this brewery. Get a new brewer.
