sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Sep 6, 2009 bottle.
Pours golden with some haze, light white head.
Aroma is light pale malts, some hints f citrus and hay.
Flavor, wheat, light hops, not too bad for what it is.
Crisp finish, citrus. Another mediocre FBC beer that has the talent of having a little something going for it. Ends a little bitter and skunky, typical of many pale lagers.
Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Sep 1, 2009 Why make a pilsner light? I guess I’ll find out. It poured pale watery gold with decent 60 second white head. The aroma is grainy with a touch of lemon acidity and faint floral hops. The taste is watery neutral and feebly sloshing up notes of grains and acidity. It tastes like seltzer water with a very thin lemon wedge sunk into it. I think I’ll choose water over this stuff. So, apparently I’m not a fan of Pilsner Lights. fluffy (229), Florida, USA Aug 19, 2009 yup. light beer. thats what it is allright. plain old light beer. not much can be said about it honestly. Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA May 11, 2009 cant recommend it, it has skunk taste wit home definite adjunct flavors of corn. look weak and the flavor is, well flavorless. nick76 (2634), Tampa, Florida, USA May 6, 2009 The aroma is not that good with cereal grains, rotten eggs, and water. The appearance is pale gold with a fizzy head that fades fast. The flavor is like the aroma but not rotten. The palate is thin but smooth from carbonation that is hidden until tasted. The finish is slightly metallic. Overall it’s a decent enough light beer but it’s not special either. Dogface (12), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Mar 24, 2009 Pours a clear, yellow body with a small, white head.Decent balance of hops and malt...light and refreshing a good light beer. osu97gp (168), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Mar 14, 2009 Bottle. Slightly hazy gold color with a quickly disappearing fizzy head. Light aroma of malts. Flavor is of malts with some citrus. Not a horrible light beer. BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Mar 12, 2009 Nothing flawed here...just nothing imaginative. Brass colored pour with a small cotton head and limited lacing. Aroma is malt and freshly mowed lawn. Decent balance of hops and malt...light and refreshing. Thin and watery.
