Appearance: Pours a very hazy, light yellow-orange body with a thin ring of white of bubbles up top. Smell: Cloves and allspice set against a scent smelling of pilsner malts. Oh, and limes. Maybe a slice or two of banana. Taste: Wheaty, pilsneresque maltiness with a sweet blend of honey and light caramel. Pinch of spices lend the flavor a dull earthiness. Fruit flavors of banana and oh-so tangy lime. Some slight perceived acidity. Spicy hops with a light bitterness. Finishes relatively fruity and sweet. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: An easy going, easy drinking that’s acceptable enough for a single bottle serving, though I certainly wouldn’t sign off on an entire six-pack.

Bottle courtesy of Daknole. Pours a cloudy peach yellowish orange with minimal white head. Nose is sweet wheat, spice and very light lime. Taste is pretty much the same. I like the way they didn’t make the lime the focal point. Medium mouth feel. A bit funky, but refreshing.

Thanks Dakine. Unevenly cloudy and looks like a tequila sunrise. Red spots visible. Aroma is big and full of yeast and coriander with some lemon. Flavor is also yeast with some chemical bitterness and orange peel. Light spices. Pepper gives some warming and zing and it is effervescent as well. A very interesting wit but the chemical did not help.

Pours a whitish/pale with a small almost non existent head. Smells of yeast, spices, and lemon. First sip has some spicy notes but mot much flavor a with a bland finish bitter. Fairly light bodied but carbonated well. Worth avoiding

Pours a murky gold in color. Decent head on the pour, but it’s gone before I can sit down. Smell is wheat, lemon zest and citrus. Taste is much the same, with more of the citrus coming through. Decent mouthfeel. An easy drinker on a hot summer day. Nothing special, but by no means offensive either.

Hazy golden color, thick initial fluffy white head with some retention. Aroma is malty and wheaty with hints of citrus and yeast. Flavors are yeast, banana, as well as some spices. This is a bit basic but very refreshing and pretty good on a hot Florida day. It was better than I thought it would be.

Thakns to daknole for sending a large variety of fruity wheat beers. This one wasn’t bad but simply average at best. My expectations are never very high with releases like this. Even so the Southernmost Wheat struggled to meet them.

Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy orange body appeared to be going for the Belgian angle. Unfortunately the aroma fell short - orange degreaser, white pepper and key lime pie were not sufficient to give it a decent punch. The only reason it gets above average is that it was a dense combination.

Flavor / Palate - The lime aspect dominated the pepper. Even so it was weak after two seconds time. Orange, cloves and wheat melded in a warm aftertaste. Overall this was an average somewhat safe play. Hopefully the other releases from Florida Beer are better. If not I will opt to pass on them whenever I see them in the future.
