KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Jan 23, 2007 Tap in a plastic cup from a hut on the square where all the street performers perform in Key West. Pours cloudy amber with a watery grain aroma. Watery copper flavor is only accentuated by the watery mouthfeel. May the sun set quickly on this mess. DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Jan 1, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear gold, off white medium head. Faint roasty grain aroma. Light body, a bit watery, lively carbonation. Mild malty swet flavor. Undistinguished, although no off flavors or anything overtly objectionable. badgerben (3586), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Dec 4, 2006 Murky copper color with no head. Aroma of... umm... air? Just a little malt taste with some hint of yeast. No bitterness. Surprisingly full body despite not really having anything in it. Eh, hard to complain. Delirium (495), Santa Cruz, California, USA Nov 24, 2006 Updated: Nov 28, 2006Bottle and draught. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is mostly caramel and slightly bready. Flavor is similar, maybe with a hint of hoppiness. Nondescript but pretty decent. (Rating #752) desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Oct 15, 2006 Mostly sweet maltiness with very little hops. A hint of apricot as well. Light and rather bland. beedman (53), Cocoa Beach, Florida, USA Oct 13, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours beautiful bronze colour, with thin white foam head. A little hop in the aroma. Taste is very malty, almost reminds me of bourbon, bread with notes of citrusy hops. Finishes with a slightly hoppy bitterness, I think it could use a little more. A decent brew compared with the other Key West products. Might buy again. Haack (101), Hornslet, Denmark Sep 22, 2006 Bottle: Amber color, lightl thin head. Nose is a bit oxidized with malty caramel notes. The flavor is a bit unbalanced, some bitterness and light sweetness and a thin body. I had expected more for a beer that I had brought all the way home from my vaction in the States.
