Pours a clear amber color with an average size dense white head. Mild floral aroma with some sweet orange and caramel notes. Hmm, starts out a little hoppy and finishes sweet, just the opposite of most beers i have had lately. Quite interesting. Thin bodied and a bit watery. Aftertaste is fleeting. Would consider this a decent session bear. All in all-very average.
9/26/09 rerate-12 oz bottle via Mys Swap 40 (thanks daknole!)Pours a semi clear amber with a small off white head. Nose is musty with some toastiness. Taste is toasted malts, a little chocolate, and some mutes almonds with a bit of a chalky dry finish. Body is medium, carbonation is medium as well. Almost ok..
