AndrewM (126), Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA Jul 7, 2006 Remnants from a trade a long time ago with Degarth. Been in the fridge for a while. Pours amber with a white head. Nose is almost vegetable. Flavor’s a bleak malt. It’s... beer. Didn’t expect much from this particular beer, didn’t get much... But hey... it’s beer. :) BückDich (4784), McCall, Idaho, USA Jul 4, 2006 Amber color, lightly hazy, thin head, some lacing. Nose is a bit oxidized with malty caramel notes and a nutty earthy hop sweetness. The flavor is a bit unbalanced, some tangy hop bitterness, light sweetness and a thin body. Not very thought provoking but I assume that’s the idea. railcat1 (578), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 3, 2006 not a lot going on with this beer it was ok but did not impress me.light and a little hoppy but nothing special not much flavor Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 29, 2006 A slightly hazy orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity with a slight touch of butter, while the flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, leading to a bitter end. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 29, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Some caramel in the nose. Rather light-bodied with a vague, underlying tartness. Vague accents of caramel and a fruity whiff of peaches. Rather subdued bitterness. 250606 eaglefan538 (2351), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jun 11, 2006 Funny that Hannah below mentioned this beer’s lager-like quality, as that was my first thought after smelling and tasting this one. Not a lot of strange stuff going on, pretty simple, and crisp. Good session beer, tasted comparable to a weaker Sam Adams, a tad like Yuengling. Only slight nuance to the flavor I picked up on was a bit of wood. I like it. Kevster (222), Bradenton, Florida, USA May 30, 2006 On tap 5/27 @ Sloppy Joe’s Bar in Key West: Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head that diminished rather quickly. Aroma and flavor is light on the hops with hints of fruits and malts leaving a tangy bitter finish. Refreshing but just average! Cartoonkhaki (1149), Brantford, Ontario, Canada May 11, 2006 Light golden colour...little tono head. What is there is off white. Aroma is almost nothing. Very light hop aroma. Flavour is weak there is a light maltiness and even a slight vinigar flavour. Very weakly flavoured beer but not offensive.
