Decent medium gold color with a light tan head which lasts longer than many. Starts and finishes with malt. Strange hint of chocolate (or carob) in the middle. There is some bitterness at the finish. I’ll take it over most any popular mass produced American lager, and won’t pour it down the drain. For a blonde ale it is fine. I could use less malt and more hop, but there’s room for all in the ale realm. AndrewM (126), Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA

Pours amber with a white head. Nose is almost vegetable. Flavor’s a bleak malt. It’s... beer. Didn’t expect much from this particular beer, didn’t get much... But hey... it’s beer. :) BückDich (4832), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Amber color, lightly hazy, thin head, some lacing. Nose is a bit oxidized with malty caramel notes and a nutty earthy hop sweetness. The flavor is a bit unbalanced, some tangy hop bitterness, light sweetness and a thin body. Not very thought provoking but I assume that’s the idea. railcat1 (578), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 29, 2006 A slightly hazy orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity with a slight touch of butter, while the flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, leading to a bitter end. Papsoe (14904), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Rather light-bodied with a vague, underlying tartness. Vague accents of caramel and a fruity whiff of peaches. Rather subdued bitterness. 250606 eaglefan538 (2360), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Not a lot of strange stuff going on, pretty simple, and crisp. Good session beer, tasted comparable to a weaker Sam Adams, a tad like Yuengling. Only slight nuance to the flavor I picked up on was a bit of wood. I like it. Kevster (225), Bradenton, Florida, USA

Aroma and flavor is light on the hops with hints of fruits and malts leaving a tangy bitter finish. Refreshing but just average!
