Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of daknole. Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt, oranges, doughy. Tastes earthy with a weird citrussy aftertaste. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle from trade with DAKNOLE. Pours a coppery brown colour with a medium head that melts quickly. Aroma is mostly caramely malt plus a litt sugar at the end. More sweetness than anything else in the flavour with a little bitterness in the finish but not really "hoppy". Average but probably much better on a Key West beach. kiefdog (1567), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 31, 2008 Tasted at Florida Beer Company in Melbourne, FL. Pours an amber-orange color with off-white head. Aroma is grain, hay, flowers, malt, some faint sweetness. Flavor is malty and slightly sweet with some ripe fruit and maybe a hint of chocolate at times. Light body with some bitterness on finish. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 15, 2008 Amber in color with a small beige head. Stewed raisins and light floral hops scents. LIght sweet start. Rather simple. An apple juice type sweetness. Drys out significantly from the middle to the finish, so much so that one is smacking the lips and tongues and I’m thinking about lime zest and tequila. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Aug 4, 2008 Poured a clear amber color with a one finger whitish head. Aroma of yeast and malt. Flavor is rather flat and dull. Won’t buy again. Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Aug 4, 2008 Amber, fast disappearing head. Fruity and yeasty aromas. Thin and grim. Lots of rotting fruit and old soap. Does not finish clean. Disappointing. Floback (333), Naples, Florida, USA Jul 18, 2008 Six-pack from Publix. Pours an orange/amber body and a fingernail of off-white head that recedes to a couple centimeters. Pleasant nose of cheerios, subtle malts and hops, slightly musty yeast. Flavors include wheat, subtle citrus, white rice, anchored by an even subtler caramel backbone. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty darn refreshing. Not a bad session beer if it wasn’t overpriced as it is. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 5, 2008 Amber color with a head that quickly settles to a thin layer. Aroma is malty and grassy with just a hint of citrus fruit. Malty flavor with a light bitter hop profile, a bit saazy, and slightly sweet. Darker color and fuller than expected. Pretty basic but I liked it for what it is.
