12oz bottle acquired in trade with daknole (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amberish color with a small sized white head. Weak aromas of citrus, grains, and malts. Weak tastes of citrus, bready, and grainy. Not much in either the aromas or tastes. This one wasn’t ’offensive’, there just wasn’t really much of anything there.

...bottle and tap. Better on tap, of course, but still lacks body and flavor. Hps on the nose, but little else to offer. Slight citrus notes, but barely there, with an amber color and small, non-lasting head. Typical of the Key West beers, light and flavorless.

In the bottle from Beertopia. Pours a reddish amber with a medium yellowish head. bditty187 said that these florida beers would not be the worst beer I’d ever tasted. He’s right, but they are certainly nothing special. Mildy hoppy, the finish leaves a bit of tartness. Benign.

(Tap @ Rum Barrel, Key West, FL): Pours a somewhat cloudy, dark orange color. Smallish, lasting head, yellow-whitish, decent lacing. Orangish aroma, good. Citrusy taste, some small nutty taste. Some dusty taste, some lager. Hoppy, somewhat bitter taste.

Pours a cloudy orange colour, with a very thin head. sweet malted aromas with a touch of fruitiness. Very heavy for an ale, i was pretty suprised, and evidently i wasn’t the only one. perfect for a hot humid day down in the keys.

Amber colour, with a slight golden accent. Fruity nose, a bit muddled and unbright. Caramel palate is sufficiently watery so as not to be cloying. Some fruitiness. A little spicy in the finish, but a bit too sweet, especially for Florida.
