April 2006 - Thanks to eaglefan538 for this one...it checks off another state and adds a beercap to my fridge. Unfortunately, that’s about all I can say good about this one. The beer looked okay, I guess...coppery-red pour with smallish head...cloudy. The aroma and flavor were awful. Brett noted a "twang"...well, to me, it was more than that, but I don’t dig it either. The flavor tried to be a nice malty with some hops present, but an awful sour finish to the beer that just didn’t belong. The aroma had a cabbage-like aroma to it as well. Not good. I ALMOST poured it...ALMOST. ;)

Light golden colour...little tono head. What is there is off white. Aroma is almost nothing. Very light hop aroma. Flavour is weak there is a light maltiness and even a slight vinigar flavour. Very weakly flavoured beer but not offensive.

I had this on tap last night, I wanted something I had never had and was totally skeptical about the quality of this beer. I was presently surprised though, much better than I had anticipated.
Poured a deep mahogany body with a creamy tan head. The aroma and flavor were buttery & nutty, quite malty and toasty; a small dose of hops help to round of the finish. The palate was surprisingly creamy, medium body; Man, this could have been far worse than it was.

12 oz bottle. Clear gold, off white medium head. Faint roasty grain aroma. Light body, a bit watery, lively carbonation. Mild malty swet flavor. Undistinguished, although no off flavors or anything overtly objectionable.

Good amber color with solid head. Nice aroma with slight hop to it. Heavy on the carbination, with a little roasted sweet malt. A little watery on the finish with slight bitterness to it.

Clear amber pour with decent carbonation that results in a 1/2 inch fizzy white head. Caramel malt definitely wins its battle with hops in this one; subtle sweetness. Watery and uneventful but wouldn’t mind having this on a hot summer day.

Had on tap multiple times on my recent trip to the Keys. Pours out a somewhat amber color with a small white head and a decent caramel aroma and slight grassy hops. Taste is mostly caramel, some slight citrus notes and a bit bready, works for a hot day in the Keys, but nothing outstanding. Worst part is that it is called Key West Sunset, yet its brewed about 400 miles north.....

12 OZ Bottle via trade with Decaturstevo (thanks!). Pours a clear amber color with an average size dense white head. Mild floral aroma with some sweet orange and caramel notes. Hmm, starts out a little hoppy and finishes sweet, just the opposite of most beers i have had lately. Quite interesting. Thin bodied and a bit watery. Aftertaste is fleeting. Would consider this a decent session bear. All in all-very average. 9/26/09 rerate-12 oz bottle via Mys Swap 40 (thanks daknole!)Pours a semi clear amber with a small off white head. Nose is musty with some toastiness. Taste is toasted malts, a little chocolate, and some mutes almonds with a bit of a chalky dry finish. Body is medium, carbonation is medium as well. Almost ok..
