Color is somewhere between straw and amber. Moderate body with a thickish and creamy head. Somehat flowery aroma. A rather cloying, chalky mouthfeel with a long lasting bitterness. An ever so slightly above average ale.

On tap somewhere in Cocoa Beach...obviously drank too much that I can’t remember where I was. This one wasn’t bad. Wasn’t very good, but I don’t mind supporting local brews. Malty mostly, but hops lingers around..like the guy who was hanging around under the pier, even after we asked him to leave...those horrible beady eyes.....

This beer pours a light amber color with a medium head and little lacing on the glass. The aroma is fairly hoppy and a little sweet. The taste is very light and a little sweet with some different spices thrown in to make it interesting. This beer drinks easily and is light enough to down several without any problem. Not sure if they are available outside of the Keys - had mine while on vacation in Key West.

Six-pack from Publix. Pours an orange/amber body and a fingernail of off-white head that recedes to a couple centimeters. Pleasant nose of cheerios, subtle malts and hops, slightly musty yeast. Flavors include wheat, subtle citrus, white rice, anchored by an even subtler caramel backbone. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty darn refreshing. Not a bad session beer if it wasn’t overpriced as it is.

Rich amber color with a small rapidly dissipating head. Grainy nose, almost like grits. A sort of tangy, grainy, malt flavor with just a hint of hops. Slight chalkiness which lingers into the finish.

Sampled from bottle, a gift from Dansting. Pours clear copper-amber with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty clean with a few fruit notes. Flavor is a bit malty with dark fruit and some zesty citrus. Not much of an after taste. Medium body and moderately carbonated. Overall, a decent beer, but there is a ’tang’ flavor that I don’t dig too much. Glad to have finally tried a beer from Florida.

I had this on tap in Key West. It tastes great next to Budweiser et al. This beer was a cloudy amber with a nice little head that laced a little bit. Had just the right mix of hoppiness and lightness for easy drinking. Slightly bitter, but that’s okay for me.

This beer pours a transparent amber with a surprisingly rich white head that laces the glass nicely. The nose is rather weak with hints of grains and flowers, but it is not unpleasant in the least. The mouthfeel is rather thin and the flavors, which are never very strong, range from a mild floral sweetness upfront to a very light caramel tartness. In the middle there are slight rusty, metallic hints and perhaps a musky yeastiness. The finish is mildly bitter with a light dryness lingering for a while on the sides of the tongue. All of the flavors are very mild, but that’s to be expected considering the nature of this beer. It makes for a decent summer brew if you’re tired of the Summer Wheats.
