Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of daknole. Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt, oranges, doughy. Tastes earthy with a weird citrussy aftertaste.

Apr 25, 2004 Dark red and murky. Musty hop and peach aroma, some malts but with a dominant strawberry and banana flavor. Light lemons as well, maybe some pineapple. Nothing really mixes well, it's a clusterfuck of citrus fruit and it doesn't really do anything. Spicy yeast in the finish. Thanks to Matta for sending this.

Aug 15, 2008 Amber in color with a small beige head. Stewed raisins and light floral hops scents. LIght sweet start. Rather simple. An apple juice type sweetness. Drys out significantly from the middle to the finish, so much so that one is smacking the lips and tongues and I’m thinking about lime zest and tequila.

Jul 4, 2006 Amber color, lightly hazy, thin head, some lacing. Nose is a bit oxidized with malty caramel notes and a nutty earthy hop sweetness. The flavor is a bit unbalanced, some tangy hop bitterness, light sweetness and a thin body. Not very thought provoking but I assume that’s the idea.

Mar 17, 2006 Draft sampler at FBGF. Poured a bown color with a moderate off-white head that diminished quickly. Medium sweet roasted malt aroma. Average roasted malt and fruity flavor with a long light bitter finish.

Jul 14, 2009 Bottle from Total Wine. Dark straw pour with off-white head. Hops and citrus and caramel malt in the nose. Flavor is pale malty, citric, with some tangerine notes, and a tad watery palate. Mediocre, but i would drink this again under certain circumstances, sweating my ass off being one of them.

Jul 20, 2006 Thanks to Susie G. for flying this in from Florida. Aroma is light malt with a bit of yeast. Decent medium gold color with a light tan head which lasts longer than many. Starts and finishes with malt. Strange hint of chocolate (or carob) in the middle. There is some bitterness at the finish. I’ll take it over most any popular mass produced American lager, and won’t pour it down the drain. For a blonde ale it is fine. I could use less malt and more hop, but there’s room for all in the ale realm.

Feb 21, 2009 Bottle sampled at the brewery. Some lace, nothing else to look at or smell. Aggressive carbonation. Malt job, macro beer.
