Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of banana, touch of floral hops. A light to medium bodied blond/golden ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of grain and some banana. The hops are floral and sort of strong for a blond ale. Decent carbonation. Kind of mild tasting, it is a golden ale, but there is a touch of a hop bite. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2004 This bottled ale poured a medium sized head of mostly diminishing white colored fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent light brown colored body and a fair lace. The aroma reminded me of a campfire and burnt wood rather smokey. The mouthfeel was tingly and smooth from start to finish while the flavor was metallic roasted caramel and malty. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Murky copper color with no head. Aroma of... umm... air? Just a little malt taste with some hint of yeast. No bitterness. Surprisingly full body despite not really having anything in it. Eh, hard to complain. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2004 Bottled. Not much to this beer and nothing special about it in my opinion. A small sized off-white head with fine-medium sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was transparent and softly carbonated with an orange hue. The nose was malty, light hops and sweet. The flavor was sweet, somewhat tart and tangy and light hops. The mouthfeel was smooth and tingly. This was a light-medium bodied beer with very sparse lacing on the sides of my glass. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 26, 2003 Pours a reddish brown with a medium tan head. Nose is malted but almost has a tartness about it. The taste is much better than the Pilsner Light. Sweetened malty notes along with a corn/rice body. It's not too bad, actually. Finishes with more of the tartness. I'm not sure if this was designed, because the bottle is still fresh, so I don't think it's an unfreshness side-effect. Decent nonetheless. Pours a dark golden with a decent frothy white head. Aroma has some fresh lake water accents with a hint of caramel. Flavor has some caramel, with but o a hoppy citrusy back end. Clean, smooth palate. Refreshing. WeeHeavySD (2970), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
