| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2008 This blond ale pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12 oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of banana, touch of floral hops. A light to medium bodied blond/golden ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of grain and some banana. The hops are floral and sort of strong for a blond ale. Decent carbonation. Kind of mild tasting, it is a golden ale, but there is a touch of a hop bite. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

Pours a reddish amber with a medium yellowish head. bditty187 said that these florida beers would not be the worst beer I’d ever tasted. He’s right, but they are certainly nothing special. Mildy hoppy, the finish leaves a bit of tartness. Benign. MacAnUltaigh (45), Tampa, Florida, USA

The wife insists on Key West Sunset Ale. When I think Key West, I usually don’t picture such a dark, autumnal beer. Medium brown color with virtually no head, so forget about lacing. Not very hoppy. Flavors of pumpkin, butterscotch, citrus, nuts, and light malt. Rather complex, actually until the finish when they all run out in a hurry and leave your palate a little boozy. I can get sixers of this beer at Sweetbay here in Tampa anytime. drowland (1429), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 21, 2009 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The pour is deep amber (almost like part of a sunset...) with a small white head that goes away fast. The aroma is sweet malts and sugar and a bit of oxidation, I think. The flavor is big under-attenuated sugars combined with paper and some hop on the finish. Not a huge fan of this one - I think this is either quite flawed or the bottle is really old. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2006 Light golden colour...little tono head. What is there is off white. Aroma is almost nothing. Very light hop aroma. Flavour is weak there is a light maltiness and even a slight vinigar flavour. Very weakly flavoured beer but not offensive. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA

It's light and refreshing. It's pretty big thing here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with all the boaters. Not bad, but not my favorite.
