About the only good thing about going to a Jimmy Buffet restaurant. I would have guessed it was a Pale Ale based on the color and flavor, but then again I don’t know much about American Blonds. Anyway, it went well in the Florida setting, and I think they hit the nail on the head in the marketing department, because I can definitely see sitting on a beach watching the sunset with one of these.

Reminded me of a pale ale - good taste, good color.

Aroma is citrusy with some tangerine. Pours a nice copper brown. Surprisingly flavourful and hoppy. Some malt character and a refreshing finish. A pleasant surprise.

Thanks to the Tampa Trader - MattA!!Slightly hazy deep amber color with an average off white head. Aroma is malty with just the slightest hop aroma. More fruit aroma than hop aroma. The hops exit completely by tasting time and the malt gives way to a watery finish. Refreshing if uneventful light ale.

Had on tap multiple times on my recent trip to the Keys. Pours out a somewhat amber color with a small white head and a decent caramel aroma and slight grassy hops. Taste is mostly caramel, some slight citrus notes and a bit bready, works for a hot day in the Keys, but nothing outstanding. Worst part is that it is called Key West Sunset, yet its brewed about 400 miles north.....

12oz bottle-pours a foamy, off white head that retains well. Color is clear copper. Aroma is mild malt. Taste is mild malt, good carbonation. Best by April-no year.

Very excellent American style ale. Hints of wheat, malt and hops. Very balanced and smooth. Mix of apricot and caramel finished smooth and a bit acidic.

This is a good light beer great for the humid days in the Florida heat, it does lack Aroma very soft smell. It has the micro brew look, a bit cloudy and off color but that is nothing to dislike. It has a smooth taste and doesn’t bloat, good for one or six.
