It has the micro brew look, a bit cloudy and off color but that is nothing to dislike. It has a smooth taste and doesn’t bloat, good for one or six. SSSteve (2106), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Aroma was pretty weak could pick much out of it. Flavor was much like Sam Adams, but way watered down. could drink a bunch of these but why waste your liver." tennisjoel (951), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Tasted on tap at Outriggers on Fort Myers Beach. Aroma is pretty non-existent, although that could be because I of the plastic cup it was served in and the fact that I was sitting outside at the Tiki Bar. Appearance is an orange red color, similar to the setting sun off in the distance. Wasn’t overly impressed but I did detect almost an apricot flavor well hidden among some light hops and maltiness. This at least kept me interested and gave it a unique flavor. It was the best of the worst with other options being bud, bud light, and miller lite. The bartender from Pittsburgh told me if I liked this beer to try Yuengling lager, which in his opinion was slightly better and could be purchased at the nearest Publix grocery chain. Slightly better doesn’t make me jump out of my seat to make a special trip, if you know what I mean. foundmd (163), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Pours a light copper with weak off white head. This beer has a decent malty aroma with slightly roasted malts and a hint of caramel. The taste is much like the aroma with lightly roasted malts, caramelized malts and a hint of astringency. Not at all bad. It is better than I was expecting. nearbeer (1886), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2008 12 oz, bb 01/29/09. Clear, darkish copper with a small head. Light soapy lace. Mild aroma of spicy split wood, orange and resin. Tastes of earthy grain, sourish apple, caramel, toasted nut. Orange-cocoa on the finish. Light-medium body is a little too watery but has a nice dry finish. This seems more of an amber ale than a blond.
