Cask at Market Porter, London Bridge 18 Nov 08. Golden colored. A small creamy head. Lovely aroma of peaches. A bit watery flavor but some malt. Dry fruity finish.

Cask Conditioned at Market Porter, London
Hazy golden color. Just a light caramel flavor, dryish final, very light vegetables. Too simple.

Cask-conditioned at the summer beer festival, The Royal Oak, Bath 19/7/08. This was too sweet for me. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. Big caramel and red fruit aroma. Flavour was sweet, with some graininess, toffee and a short bitter finish. No more than ok.

Cask (Pullman, Helsinki) Orangy, thin head. Sharp slightly fruity and sour and nutty malty aroma. Mild carbonation. Taste is also sharp, and powerfully malty - raw and sour mashy. Also got hints of nuttiness and even some ginger. Pukka Best, back to the style of the 80s or before. Tasty and refreshing.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Dark golden colour, almost amber. Surprising roasted malt nose. Tarty malt flavour that is not particularly refined. Could have been much better.

Bottle. Think this is the very beer that they have bottled.Poured very flat and slightly cloudy.Traces of smokiness and some hops. The bitterness lingered for some while.

Cask at Royal Oak, Fritham, Hampshire. Deep brownish amber. Resiny hoppy nose. Medium dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Salty and lightly soapy with long heavily salty bitterish finish. A solid bitter.

BCA (from Bitter Virtue, BB Aug 07). Good balance between strawy hops and clean but falvoursome biscuity bready malts. Very drinkable and definitely one I’ll try on cask when I see it. Suprisingly well bottled for a new brewer and with improved quality compared to the beers I tried shortly after they had opened.
