Kinda like calling Wal-Mart upscale when you’re a K-Mart shopper. This tastes like @ss. Not that I’ve tasted @ss or anything, but I’m sure this is what it tastes like. We’re not allowed to bring bottles of beer to the tailgating festivities, so instead of killing ourselves trying to find good beer in cans, we make delicious homebrew to bring in a Party Pig, and accompany it with the worst canned beers available. This year’s fifth and final choice: Keystone.
This is sold in my area as "Keystone" (minus the "Premium"). Pours a light golden color with a large, fizzy white head. Head fizzles (literally) to nothingness. Lots of bubbles stream throughout, like some weird science experiment. Lightly bready malts in the nose with some slight alcohol. Slightly sweet flavor, grainy, with a sour finish. Way too overly carbonated. Ick. robharing (82), Ormond Beach, Florida, USA

You know all those stories you hear about the mega breweries and how everything is the same it just has a differnt label. I think this stuff would dispute that notion. It struck me as a pale alternative to Coors. Like it was watered down in flavor, color hops malt everything just seemed milder. mjg74 (2001), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Pours pale yellow. Aroma is quite grainy. Flavor is sweet and grainy. Not bad for a cheapo beer. Keystone Ice is brutal, this stuff is much better. Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Not much aroma or flavor, just a reminding aftertaste of beer. A good trailer park brew. OD40oz (603), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

I drank it during a camping trip in Montana. I would drink this anyday in my wife beater T shirt on the porch of the trailer.
