Nov 14, 2003 Clear yellow in color with a frothy head. Aroma is light malt with some grain. Flavor is sweet and nasty. Seems to have that general swill flavor. I should have had it colder.

Nov 7, 2003 When you are in College, and you have no money, the boys in Golden Colorado sure know how to treat you well. Granted there is nothing sexy about this beer in any way, it is cheap, easy to shotgun/beerbong, and can get you and you friends delightfully buzzed in just a short while. No party is complete without these babies strewn across the floor.

Oct 2, 2003 Clear, with a fool's gold-like appearance. Had a vitamin C-laden urine look to it. Soft up front; became more carbonated near the finish. Actually had a little thickness too it, surprisingly. Flavor was OK at first, then developed some strange "synthetic" corn notes, especially in the aftertaste. Subtle sweetness was kind of a nice touch, but without much of a hop presence, it was kind of left there, swinging its member in the wind. Finished dry, with a little alcohol note. Corniness in the aftertaste left my tongue cringing, yearning for some bitterness to go with it.

Aug 12, 2003 Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Some bitterness in the finish helps keep this one out of the gutter, but...oh, damn, I just spilled all of it into the sink! What a pity.

Jul 7, 2003 They should change the name of this beer to Oxymoron. Is there really such a thing as premium Keystone? I guess there is because it says so on the can. At any rate, this beer tastes like carbonated walnuts. There are many other Am. Standards that taste better and are cheaper.
