330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009)
Dark brown, red hints, beige ring head. Sharp pear and acetone aroma. Touch of caramel too. Very light apple and pear taste - so very light, but with some burnt caramel too. Alas the acetone becomes too prominent after a while, otherwise it would be very tasty.

Gravity Head ’09. Pours a hazed thin headed reddish brown. Fruity, darker fruit nose estery. Light peppery. Smooth sweet brown sugar hints. Full creamy body. Fruity estery, peppery alcoholic sweetness. Creamy with stronger dark malt character, but nothing strongy pruney or datey. Lingering alcohol over fruity yeast sort of finish. Not bad

Bottle, sampled at Woodshop Quad. Pours a hazy brownish-amber with a thick bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, herbs, and pine. Taste is sparkly and sweet, of malt, sugar, caramel, and pine. Lingering sweetness and nice carbonation. Nice.

This brown ale poured with a nice beige head and a pleasant fruity aroma. This is truly a tripleized double, tasting much like the Affligem Noel - dark and fruity with candi sugar and some banana ester.

Draft at Max’s 72 Hours of Belgium. Great toffee and caramel aroma with a bot of dark cherries in the mix. Medicinal flavors. Medium sweet and good body. Just not my cup of tea.

Pours attractive deep prune brown with a frothy tan head. Nose and flavor are caramel, toffee and dried fruit. A bit thin in the body.

Tap at Trappist. Pours with a brownish color and a nice head. Aromas of caramel and toffee. Nice flavors of toffee and some dark fruit. The body could be a bit more robust though.Does not quite reach up to Westy or St Bernardus ABt 12.
