At KBW in Vichte (B). A red/brown colored beer, with a nice beige foamy head. An aroma of several fruits and dark malts. The taste is sweet, of some honey and banana. It has a touch of chocolate. Nice bitterness. Alcohol is not dominating. A good beer.

On tap at The Thirsty Monk, Asheville. Mild lactic yeasty sourness with a bit of mild candi sugar and cherry skin sourness. Dark amber-brown clear with foamy lacing head off-white head. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation and light alcohol warming. Starts sweet with caramel and neutral fruit sweetness. Candi sugar and light yeasty finish. Sweet with bit of cooked corn and brown sugar. Fairly clean after.

Bottle at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. The pour is hayz and copper-colored, with an off-white head. Fruity nose with both dried and fresh fruits, like apple and pear, and there’s also some malty aromas. The flavor is much the same, with the added joy of a yeasty note. Medium to full, sweetish body, and a dry yet sweetish finish. Sure, it’s a quite nice beer, but too fruity in my book. (080410)

A very sweet and lovely strawberry beer. With a sweet touch without extreme sugar taste, but candy sugar and creamy, very soft.

330 ml bottle. Almost clear, reddish brown body with a big beige head. Aroma is sweet fruity , slightly roasted caramel, candy sugar and some spices. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, dry fruit and some alcohol. A rich and complex beer.

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy brown with a dense and collapsing white head. Light spiced aroma, coriander. Flavour is mild yeasty, light metallic note, mild coriander spice and a smooth caramel malt. Ends with a lingering spice finish.6-3-7-4-14=3.4
