Pale brown colour. Black malts dominates the aroma. Light sourish flavour backbone - black malts in excess here as well, as well as chocolate. Low bitterness. Pretty boring.
wacho (43), Izegem, Belgium Jun 11, 2008 gedronken in de brouwerij. Mooie witte ,langdragende witte kraag. Fruitig aroma met een goed uitgebalanceerd smaakpalet. Lichtbitterig met een fruitige achtergrond en droge afdronk Ober (187), Best, Netherlands Jun 9, 2008 On KBW in Vichte (B) as Keyte Oostendse Tripel. It ’s a clear yellow colored beer. It has a nice white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and a bit bitterness in the back. Th taste of hops, sweet sunny fruits, with a touch of bitter in the back. A very good beer. Beer_2000 (1114), Kristiansand, Norway May 2, 2008 330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a big white head. Slightly spicy aroma dominated by a sweet castor sugar smell. Flavor is sweet and fruity, some apple, sweet malt and sugar with a hint of alcohol. A bit to much on the sweeter side for my liking. Ole_R (1055), Oslo, Norway Apr 23, 2008 Bottle as Keyte Oosténdse Tripel. Nice snowy white head. Golden colored. Wheaty and fruity aroma, yellow apples and lemon. Some wooden notes and a quite strong scent of earthy hops. Sweet malty and lemony flavor with a nicely balanced bitterness. Feels smooth and mellow in the mouth. Fairly dry, fruity finish.
