Kiefer Rossa

Bottle@Home. Butterscotch, light herbal and lots of malts in the aroma. Dark amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, madeira, light bitter, medium body. Smells like a German bock but tastes like it has aged a couple of years and it wasn’t past the BBD.

Bottled. Ambver colour. Creamy beige head, lacings. A roasted sweet and malty aroma. It has a caramel taste to it, some malt with a dry aftertaste. Thanks to Dorqui for this one.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is quite not saying much. Weak malts and alcohol. Flavour then again is more living, caramel, malts, some dryish stuff. It’s a pleasant and smooth. But then again a bit one-dimension.

Bottled (BB 12/2006)
Amber color, decent brownish head. Light roasted, caramelly aroma. Light to medium bodied, sweetish and caramelly, touch of burned sugar. Not very special and not dunkel, more like vienna.

Bottled 0,33L. Compact and adherent foam, good persistence. Dark red color, much fizzy and elegant aspect. Extremely bitter and alcoholic scent, malty nose, notes of scorched malt, roasted caramel and liqueur. Lively and pungent taste, overbearing and protract bitter, elevated alcoholic perception. Liquory and fresh end. Good persistence.

Bottled. Red/Amber colour, fluffy light brown head. Rich malt nose, little ozone-like. Quite some malt flavour, soft chewy, with notes of butter-toffee and smallish tones of roasted malt. Good beer!

Clear amber, average white head, frothy, glass stiking. Moderate malt aroma, tosty bread, a hint of caramel, light hoppy (citrus peel). Noticeable sweet nose, like wort or(wild) honey. Flavour is sweet, with a light bitterness, very light hop flavour, a lot of malt flavour and finish with cane sugar or jam sweetness, very persistent. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, light alcohol presence. Metallic finish.
