On tap, dark red colour, creamy head and low carbonation, light caramel malt aroma and balanced hops taste with a touch of fruits, sweet flavor and dry alcoholic final.

Alla spina al Goletta (Guinness Pub del porto antico), nel bicchiere è uguale alla sua controparte ’comune’ però fin dall’aroma si sente la presenza alcolica, più di quanto non ci si aspetterebbe per i suoi 6 gradi, ma in fondo è abbastanza normale visto: la produzione, lo stile, il distributore. Il fatto che sia prodotta solo per il mercato italiano fa riflettere sul tipo di consumo inconsapevole che rende la birra, all’occhio di molti nostri connazionali, più un "alcolico" che una bevanda; se volete ubriacarvi con la Kilkenny Strong, tuttavia, a meno che non siate poco strong fin dal principio, ci vorrà un bel po’ di spesa. Devo dire che il sapore ci guadagna nel confronto con la sua versione usuale, perché l’alcool, che continua a sentirsi prepotentemente, colora un po’ la piattezza del dolcino/evanescente aggiungendole un tocco di pepe/limone,

Nitrokeg. Same nice creamy head of its lighter version. Dark brown app. Very sweet mono-dimensional flavour, little nutty, diacetyl. Harsh and very alcoholic.

Served at on draught at an Irish Pub in Florence Italy. Was impressed with this beer simply because I will believe it was the best beer that they served at the bar over the guiness draught. It pours a decent white head with a dark amber colour. Smell was sweet and presentful. Flavour was sweet, malty, slight hops, and a hint of a nutty aftertaste.

[Draught at Connolly Station Irish Pub, Subiaco, Roma, Italy] Brownish amber, creamy head. Fruity nose with plums, alcohoo,, raisin aand lemo. Sweetish and rather chemical with light, mellow body and resiny finish. Harsh and raw. Not good.
