It is a tad overpriced in this country, but it definitely goes down smooth and very flavorful. Love the roasted malt flavor and is definitely a great beer from a macro brewery. The only thing I find unpleasant about this brew, is the metallic odor that is noticed prior to tasting, but it thankfully does not translate to the actual flavour itself.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Nitro can. Pours clear amber/reddish with the thick creamy head one would expect from a nitro can. Aroma is mild, malty, vaguely metallic and hopelessly simple. Taste is weak caramel and UK style hops. Finish as weak as the taste. Maybe this one is better from draught? JesseM (681), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Smells like basic caramalts and metallic hops. Flavour is so bland it’s almost difficult to comprehend. Mild sweetness upfront met with okay bitter hop presence in the finish. Goes down pretty easy but is kind of ridiculously unsatisfying. Meh, it was a great night anyways so I wasn’t too worried about the beer I was drinking in an Irish themed pub. beerface1 (6), Windsor, Ontario, Canada does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Ok, I kind of like this. Sort of sour, a nice creamy texture, leaves a nice kind of bready aftertaste on the back of the tongue. KyotoLefty (1501), Kyoto, Japan

Slightly tangy, fruity, caramel malt aroma. Rather sour flavor, with rich caramel malt, cherries and other fruit. Ok-fruit is nice, but a tad too sour. vkrejci (48), Brno, Czech Republic

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Nitro can. Attractive pour, with a clearing amber colour as it develops its thick and persistent off-white head. Aroma, flavour and carbonation are fairly subdued. The flavour is mostly malt and nevertheless pleasant, followed with a drying finish. Birdiebeagle (815), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA

The head lasts well and laces nicely. Has very faint aroma mostly of grains. The carbonation is very light. The flavor is a good mix of sweet and bitter. Has a medium body. The texture is creamy. This is a good sipping beer. Decent finish and aftertaste.
