yespr (5405), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 75 cL bottle, beautiful bottle with a nice print directly on the bottle. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a slowly collapsing white head. Dry bitterhops aroma with a mild cornish and citrus note. Smooth flavour with a light fruity accent and mild sweet corn note. Goes into a light bitterness in the finish - still matched with a nice sweet cornish and light citrus note. Good balance.
weaselkenievil (272), Cheshire, England Jul 6, 2008 I think this is a decent European lager. Much better than expected, the average Cobra is absolutely awful. I like lager which may be frowned upon by you beer geeks. Like I give a fuck. Crisp, sweet, hoppy. I liked it. chimp_lechamp (324), glasgow, Scotland Jul 5, 2008 BOttle from londis. pours orange, golden, with a large white head that goes away really fast and leaves no trace. nose is grapefruit, bubblegum, hairspray, pine, citrus, and lemonrind. really sweet but there is balance. better than expected. nose is barnyardy, earth funk. madsberg (4360), Bangalore, India Jul 3, 2008 Bottled (Brewed by Impala Distillery and Brewery, Goa). Light golden coloured. Clear. Small off white head. Bready, grainy and sweet aroma. Flavour of rye bread, light herbs and fruits. Is not specially good and pleasant in aroma and flavour. Thin bodied. Bready and alcoholdense end. This is 61 IRS down the drain. azlondon (457), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Pale yellow. Quite hazy. Lots of head.
Aroma: Fruity. Bit of hops and malt.
Taste: Quite hoppy, some fruit. Strong aftertaste.
Info: 750ml bottle, 23/3-2007 ChainGangGuy (1393), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 28, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a respectably-sized, white head.
Smell: Pale maltiness, some light floral hints and minor notes of grapes, citrus, and the honey you’d find in a squeeze bottle shaped like a bear.
Taste: Smooth pale maltiness with a mild, restrained honeyish sweetness. A few drops of orange juice, a dash of white grape juice. Faintly floral hoppiness with a tremendously mild bitterness. Small pinch of acidity. Hint of white pepper. Drying, yeasty finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Odd, questionably chalky mouthfeel to it.
Drinkability: Not altogether horrendous, but make no mistake, it’s no Malheur Brut by any stretch of the imagination.
