A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is very bitter and the flavor is primarily hoppy and then sweet - a very fresh beer, like a czech pilsener - but not quite as good. An above average pilsener omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 6, 2002 Pale yellow. Watery. Insipid fake Indian beer. Papsoe (10512), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 22, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) British version brewed by United Breweries in Faversham, Kent. Pretty, fully golden with a creamy head. fresh, pleasant aromas. Great, malty flavours with some fruity aromas - I honestly believe I can taste some lichi. Great. 101100 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 26, 2000 Updated: Aug 6, 2003This beer is no more authentically Indian than all those restaurants serving vindaloo my grandmother could eat. But even at the good ones it's hard to find anything else to drink. I finally got another crack at it without the influence of Indian food, and it turns out to be a lightish, vaguely crisp lager, not unlike a firmer, more Germanic rendition of Heineken. There were noble hops in the aroma, and on the palate, a hint of dryness and lack of off-flavours. yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 18, 2007 33 cL botle. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is corn and bitterhops. Flavour has the same in a rather boring mix with malt notes. Plain bitter finish.
