Bottle. Clear pale yellow lager, with a small head. The aroma is dominated by hops, malts, some distant fruits. The taste is a bit fuller than most indian lagers, slightly bitter finish. The carbonation is good, sparkly. Absolutely preferable instead of the boring kingfisher.

Bottle bought in Goa. Golden coloured. Clear. small off white head. Fruity and some smoky notes. Quite different in comparison with some of the speciments Ive crossed lately. Flavour as well is a bit more disticnt smoky. Has a light tar touch. Again light fruits. Is medium bodied. Light dry. Ends on a light smoky note. As omhper has stated this stands out from the ordinary Indian lager, and should have some credit for that. A bit bland though, but still quite nice.

This is a traditionally main stream pilsner beer breawed in India. The result is very disappointing. Where this type of pilsners normally are uninspiering but harmles this one is really bad. The collor is light yellow with little head. The test has a bisar sour tuch witch is no joy.

Has a glycerine tang to it. In fact the barman showed me how to remove the glycerine by upturning the bottle under water! It is used as a preservative and adversly affects the taste for the worse. At 25c for 325ml, who’s complaining?

[Bottled] Pale golden, brief head. Evident aroma of smoked malt. Dryish and light bodied with some loght rice flavour. But, behold, this is an Indian lager with flavour, and not just any flavour - it’s really smokey. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like this, but as it is it clearly stands out from the mediocre rice beers of India, and possesses a fair bit of character.
