Dickinsonbeer (2366), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jul 27, 2006 Had this fresh at the brewery. Pours a nice clear golden with a long lasting white head and good lace. Aroma is toasted and bready malts and nice fresh herbal hops. Bready full flavor, and a crisp spicy herbal hop finish made this a great pilsner/lager. Although I did have this later on at a restaurant nearby, and 1 pint was awesome, then the next one was not so good. I checked out the bar area- and appears as though they had at least 3 of these tap handles so maybe one keg was fresher than the other. Very delicate I guess. hauntedwolf99 (4), Lexington, Kentucky, USA does not count Nov 3, 2002 The rest of the comments seem pretty acurate here. I just finished a bottle now, and the taste is fresh in my mouth, but its nothing spectacular- I'd go with Killians or Murphy's over Kinsale. redmosquito (172), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2004 Nice golden color, clear with average carbonation. Very little hop aroma, just a hint of that British grass hop aroma and otherwise yeasty. Clean flavor, nothing dominating or unique, perhaps a bit bready. This beer would compare very well with an American/Canadian Lager. Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Oct 1, 2004 The beer disembogues the 330ml brown bottle a somewhat murky pale gold color with a modest frothy white head that evaporates quickly leaving a thin veil of lace to conceal the glass. Nose is sweet malt, fresh and clean, crisp to the senses with the start that is lightly sweet with the top light to medium in feel. Finish is brisk in its carbonation the hops light but pleasant, the aftertaste quite dry, a tolerable brew tis true. Frank (1056), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 3, 2003 Pale golden. Thin head. Bready aroma. A little toasty. Very smooth. Low hop bitterness but no complaints. Semi-sweet. I like it.
